Janet Lovegrove

I help people to find a deep and limitless source of inner strength and calm in the midst of all of their life challenges regardless of how diverse and demanding these may be.

For many years I worked as an Emergency Department nurse and discharge planning coordinator. In these roles, I met with many caregivers and parents who were feeling stressed and overwhelmed with the responsibilities of caring for someone who had physical and/or mental health needs requiring them to have constant supervision and direct care provision. This can be an exhausting and challenging endeavour if you do not know how to care for your own needs - in body, mind and spirit - first!

I teach my clients that it is not selfish to be self-caring; it is necessary. Using the Life Process Transformation (TM) program created by Viola Fodor, I help to guide clients on a journey of self-exploration and personal growth that encourages honest self-examination, quieting the mind and nurturing the inner self. I encourage people to begin to process some of the painful emotions that can lead them to feeling anxious, depressed, or prone to self medicating, if left unchecked. I also help people to become more creative and resilient in meeting their life challenges including their care giving responsibilities to others.

I offer free initial phone consultations to all of my clients as we explore if I am the right fit for helping them address their life issues and care providing responsibilities without these coming at a cost to their own self care.

If you find yourself feeling stuck, resentful, depleted, grief-stricken, or empty inside, please contact me.
